As you might know already, OJuicers is a juicer store and an overall healthy diet promoting place that was opened by Tiffany Howard and that is still being run by the same lady who has become one of the leading nutritionists in the Seattle area. You also probably already know that OJuicers is not only a store, but a place where you can get the most incredible recipes for juices, smoothies and all the other types of beverages that you will be able to make with your new juicer. We would like to share some of our favorite OJuicers recipes here in hope that at least one of these will hit that special sweet spot for you.
For instance, there is the so-called Green Machine, a vegetable juice that is made from one cucumber, two apples, half a lemon, 4 celery stalks, one tablespoon of ginger and 6 to 8 Kale leaves. Of course, none of these are set in stone and if you feel like you would like to make a change to the recipe, there is no one who can stop you. This is a very refreshing and insanely invigorating veggie juice that is best served over ice and that will be such a huge boost of energy for you that you will not believe it. Then there is a very special Australian recipe which includes 2 Australian beetroots, 1 cup of organic strawberries, 2 organic carrots and 2 cups of kale leaves. It is a real interesting juice that will surprise both you and your taste buds.
Pomegranate juice is something that you would probably never think of, but we have a very special recipe for you that involves one of the healthiest fruits in the world, pomegranate, richer in anti-oxidants than pretty much any other substance in the world. The recipe is insanely simple and it involves getting the seeds from a few pomegranates and simply juicing them in your juicer. If you want a simple way to get the seeds to come out, you can slice the pomegranate in half and hold it with your fingers spread with the cut side down. Then you simply use the handle of a knife and tap it on top. Seeds will fall out in matter of seconds.
Of course, juicers are not only for juices and smoothies. If you wish, you can make marinades and salad dressings using juicers. For instance, you can make the very unique vegan ginger soy marinade that will bring taste to every meal you prepare using it. It is made from half a cup of wheat free tamari, I handful of chopped cilantro, two tablespoons of honey or agave nectar, one tablespoon of freshly grated ginger (or more if you want a more gingery taste) and two tablespoons of lemon juice. It is an incredibly delicious marinade that you will fall in love with.
In the end, it is all up to you, your combinations, your creativity and your own taste. With a juicer, great recipes are never more than a few minutes away.
